Rider's Cycles Women's Bikes Page

Rider's Cycles is devoted to providing the best service we can for women. We have womens specific bikes, clothing and accessories, and we try to set them apart from the men's items with as much clarity as posssible. Bike shops can be intimidating, but we try to minimize that feeling as much as we can. We recognize the fact that men are out numbered 7 to 1 in Victoria and the fact that women make up over 46% of cyclists. So don't shy away from the store, we'll take good care of you.

BIKE ACCESSORIES FOR WOMEN

In addition to the large inventory of bicycles Riders Cycles also carries a wide array of women's specific accessories.

Rider's Cycles stocks over 20 models of Women's bikes and has over 25 more models available to them. Great brands like Trek, Specialized and Santa Cruz, have all come to the table with bikes geared around the anatomics of a woman. Why A Women's Bike?

A women's bike is the answer for most women. The ergonomics of Women's Specific Design (WSD) are designed to "just fit", with many advantages:

Stamina

Women's specific design centers your weight over the bike, reducing the pressure on your hands while shorter reach break levers alleviate hand fatigue.

Endurance

WSD has a shorter top tube and narrower handlebars alleviating sore shoulders and stiff neck muscles.

Comfort

WSD and saddles allow you to sit comfortably on the saddle reducing the pressure on the pubic bone and soft tissue. This allows your legs to relax and increases your power output.

Power

Addressing a women's pelvic structure and riding position, the WSD geometry provides optimal power and comfort by shortening the top tube and offering a slightly less aggressive riding position.
